Default engine installation

I have a Top Flite Corsair, that I want to mount a Zenoah G20ei on. The firewall appears to be perfectly flat with no down/right thrust built in. Does anyone know a place to by a mount that will do this for me, so the correct angle will there when I install the engine? Thanks for any help.

I just used fender washers from the hardware store under the mounting bolts to change my thrust line

The proper right and downthrust has already been incorporated into the firewall.

Take a straight edge and align it from the rudder to the center point of the firewall.

Then take a 90 degree angle and align it to that and the firewall and you'll see that it has more redily.

It's only about 2 degrees or so, so it can be easily overlooked.

Quoting Top Flite themselves:

"Typical fuselage construction with 3/32" balsa sheeting. You can easily see the right thrust built into the firewall. Fuselage is built with the upper half constructed over the full-size plan"

Did TF always build it into the firewalls? I suspect this was originally an older red box kit. Thanks for the help.

No, it's only on the most recent Gold Edition. One the previous Gold Edition and the older kits, there was no right-thrust built in.

take a pic and post it in the warbirds section there is a huge volume of information on the TF corsair including build threads, mods.and flight video, including information on installing a G-20 in the airframe.
BTW if its a older red box then a small 60 size engine is plenty of HP to fly it a G-20 would probably shake it apart, besides having half the engine hanging out of the cowl.
