Default JR 8301 thro.cut

How can you install the thro. cut? Have not found it in the manual.

You just close the throttle trim. It's as easy as can be.

That model does not have that function, you use the throtal trim lever as it does not have a digital trim on the throtal.

Cheers

You'll enjoy the 8103. It's a great radio.

One of the reasons I've stayed with JR is the analog throttle trim. I've used both digital and analog, and nothing beats the slider. I have much better control over my engines' low end with the trim lever than I do with a button. I know where they are, and I know if they're behaving oddly. The throttle kill buttons on most radios are just a crutch, a way to deal with the one downside of digital trims. With JR's system, I get the best of both worlds. I wish more manufacturers would do that.

Keep in mind that your throttle trim only affects the bottom half of the stick's movement range. This is done so that it doesn't affect your top end-point.

I have another question for any JR guys. The DX7 has that trim memory for the throttle trim so you can drop the trim but put the trim back where it was for starting and flying?? Not sure what it is called. Just trim Memory I think. Is there a way to make the JR 9303 do that??? Just wondering, I have one student with the DX7 and another with the 9303. I use the Futaba 9C and just use a three way switch for a high idle to start and fly, a low idle to land or taxi then one more down and it kills the engine. A crutch??? I love the feature and it has come in very handy at big shows and fly ins. I also like the slide trims on my old radios but I like the way my 9C programs a lot better. I feel that JR just missed something with that feature.
