Anyone know what the correct size prop would be perfect for this plane? I had a 12x6 on it and it was Ok flew similar to the 11x6...but would a 12x8 be too much?

The 11x6 is too small of a prop for this engine. It's going to cause the engine to run too fast and possibly damage the engine. 12x6-9 are good sizes for this engine, use the lower pitch for more pulling power and the higher pitch for more speed. You can also put a 13x6-7 on this engine with good results.
Hope this helps

If you want more pull, and probably less speed, you could try an APC 13x4W. I mostly use a 12x6 on my 61 two stroke. I liked the 13x4W on it but I'm not a very good pilot and kept breaking them on landings. They cost $8 compared to less than $4 for a 12x6 so I went back to the 12x6.
It's weird; I broke three of the $8 props in one day and I hardly ever break my $4 props.
I'm a little better at landing now so I may put a 13x4W on my Uproar 60 the next time it needs a prop.

I run a 12*8 on my pony and love it.
