Default Help with speed...

hello, i have an aerobird and a firebird II, now i can fly these plane great... what im wondering is, how are the GWS airplanes speed compared to these 2 planes? i was thinking about getting either a GWS P-51 or a GWS Zero.... do these GWS planes fly about the same speed as and Aerobird slower or faster? will i need a bigger field to fly it in or the same area? thanks guys..

They are way way faster so you will need a way bigger field.

Hey Midnitedew, bring it out to our field in Willmar on June 28th. We're having a minnesota RCU fly in!

I don't know about the p-51 and the zero, but I have the GWS A-10. It flys slowly, and is a bit marginal on power in stock form, but it is faster than the firebirds. I find it easy to keep in a small area, but I've been doing this for a while, other guys may not find it so easy. (I also find it flys inverted fairly well, but again, I've been doing this for a while).

If I were you, I'd find a club field to fly it at for at least the first few flights, then you can judge for yourself if you can keep it in your normal park.
