Looks great! I bet this one will last longer than the cub too. Hopefully this one won't go through any in-flight wing removals.

Glow fuel does not dissolve foam, it will soak in though so usually a coat or two of minwax polycrylic will seal it up and make cleanup easier.

Hehe, looks good man! Should fly real well with that motor - definitely better than the cub did. [X(] BTW, 15% fuel will dissolve cured polycrylic. Use thinned epoxy if you want to protect the foam from fuel.

I'm interested to see how it will compare to the turnagy 1100kv brushless setup I pulled out. I have a buddy that I fly with that has the same plane with the turnagy motor in it. we'll have to "run" them and see how it does. once I had the motor dialed in, in the Cub, the Trojan was just a touch faster in level flight. I'm curious to see if this airframe is faster. even if it's not there will definitely be a new coolness factor to the plane.

Hmmm, i guess after my two coats of poly i always used paint on top of it, maybe that's why i've never had a problem with fuel and foam.
