Default another question regarding removing trim


I'm trying to remove previous' owner name from the wing of my airplane...big six letters...i got 3 of them done...(some finishing up needed) Sometime when i was removing the monocote, the tape was pealing off but the glue stayed on...any solution how to get rid of it?

Try some acetone. Just be careful because it can get under the seams of the Monokote you want to keep.

CA de-bonder and nail polish remover also contain acetone and they'll often work in a pinch and save a trip to the hardware store.

I will try acetone, the whole bottom of the wing is white, (one piece) there is no risk that the acetone will do any kind of damage to the covering I would like to keep. I might try to do it today afternoon, if not then for sure tomorrow morning.
