Default Nice flying day

Well Friday was beautiful here in Kentucky, upper 50's but a strong wind. Flew from 9:30 until 1:30 and went picked up the boys at school. They wanted to go flying so we went back to the field for another hour or so. My 7 year old flew his airhog jet while I put my 12 year old on the buddy box. I have a Goldberg Eaglet that I just started flying 3 weeks ago. I have had about a year flying electric foamies and getting all the sim time I can. The 12 year old flew for 7-8 minutes without help, he even did loops and rolls. I got a lot of practice fighting the crosswind on takeoffs and landings. Now we have a forecast for ice and snow. More sim time.

Default RE: Nice flying day

Sounds like a good reason to get a ski-plane happening to me.
