i have a jr tx 72.970mhz channel 59 tx is xf421 ex. and a rx hitechfd-08rd-rcd3800, 72.270 mhz channel 24. i want to fly 2 planes with this tx, can i just buy a channel 59 crystal for the rx. and where is a good place to get one . thanks Lee

Yes you can replace the receiver crystal with one for Ch 59. You'll want to use a Hitec Dual Conversion crystal (or one designed for Hitec Dual Conversion from a reputable third party like www.performancedevices.com ) and it should work fine. Make sure the Hitec receiver is set to positive shift to match your JR transmitter.

Almost every hobby dealer on Earth should be able to provide you with Hitec brand crystals. Tower Hobbies and Horizon Hobby both resell Hitec radio gear.
