Default Binding a DX-7 without a 3 wire switch

I know that I have seen somewhere how you can bind the DX-7 without using a 3 wire switch. I Searched but guess I don't know where to look. Most of my planes have the switch containing the charge jack all-in-one. So I only have two wires coming out of the back of the switch. How do I bind my new AR7000 without having to buy a spektrum switch.

Try putting the bind plug in the aux1 or aux2 channel I can't remember which one, or i think you can also put it in the batt port, and just put the batt through a spare channel.

Move the batt to any other port and put the bind plug into the batt port on the RX.

You dont need the 3 wire swith.

Just stick the bind plug into the batt/bind port with the battery plugged in somewhere else. If you lost your plug, just use a piece of wire or make a new one by splicing the outer wires together on a spare servo extension or the wire from an old bad servo.

For some reason I have about 4 bind plugs and only 2 RX-s Thinking about getting the Cheaper RX to use on some of my planes. The AR7000 you need to be a drug dealer to afford many of them. Only kiddingthat was my profession before I retired. A drug counselor. (not a dealer)

That's good, I interned in the state drug lab, OSBI, to finish my school. We saw a bust of a few dealers in there. Got to help test a 30lb. brick of marihuana.

It only works in the batt/bind port.

I've been happy with the singe receiver - AR500. No performance issues at all and almost half the price of an AR7000. It's only a 5 channel, but that's all I need on most of my planes.
