Here I'am with my Phoenix Dolphin when it was still in 1 piece [:@] It used to be my dads & its pretty much paid for itself. Now, I have a 4* .40
BTW - the pic of the Allison v12 engine that brett65 has was the engine I was named after. My dad used to be an aircraft mechanic & about the time I was being born he was working on an Allison, so, he decided to name me Allison. It was used in P-40's, but also in early P-51's, P-38 Lightnings, and a couple others I cant remember.

Here's my pictures. Great idea by the way. I always wanted to fly RC planes (since I was 20). I'm 38 and after racing bikes for the last 5 years I needed to try something that was not necessarily cheaper but something that did not break bones when bad things happen. Unfortunately racing bikes, it doesn't have to be you that makes the mistake, although you do have to pay for it at times. I look at RC flying like this, yes you can crash and it will cost you money, but at least you don't get hurt, and the fact that you only have yourself to blame works for me too.
I also enjoy sledding and taking my kids ice fishing. Great site and great people. I have learned so much off this site, it truly is inmeasurable how much it has helped me. Thanks again. Dan
PS My race number is 25, my daughter was born on the 20th and my son the 5th. My username is Mikecam, My son is named Mike and my daughter is named Camryn.

When you get old like me you will have fond memories. 13 years ago I set the parking brake the last time, and not been in a cockpit since. I do miss it now and then, the paychecks mostly!

I think we all set parking brakes eventually, but the next day we have something new. I can't even imagine experiences you have had, but I know life is an ongoing story. Just keep experiencing and learning. RC airplanes is not a bad thing to relax with.

Hoss, I'm definitely not looking forward to the last time I set the parking brake. Although I have to admit, I do not like the parking break in the Hornet at all...emergency brakes and normal brakes all in the same tiny lever.
Is that an F-4 it your first pic? It's kinda hard to tell, but I think the windscreen gives it away (oh how I hope I'm right). Any cool stories you could possibly post from your jet days? I'd always love to hear about em!!!
Take care all...
