Flycamone3 is either out right now or about to be released.

You could try this one from Nitroplanes. It doesn't have an articulating lens, but it is small and I think the video may be the same quality.

I just found this [link=http://www.tomica.de/FCO/]Webpage for FlyCamOne3[/link]... very impressive. The cam has a removable 2" LCD screen so you can view the vids/still immediately without takling a laptop to the field, and you can (will soon be able to) get things like a GPS module, a 2.4GHZ tx/rx for the cam, and something they're calling C-Eyes that seems to be a pair of virtual reality goggles so you can see from the pilot's view in real time. Plus the cam has tilt & pan and the goggles apparently will have some sort of motion detection so you can "look around" while you're "up there", while getting info like altitude & speed on screen/goggles from the GPS!. Apart from the "cool" factor, it might also be useful for finding lost models!

Wow! [:-]

Flycamone2

Mike and I are just now returning from the Toledo show. Our administrator set up a deal with Hobby-lobby to get the Flycamone2 to each reviewer to start using for our review footage. So you should start seeing something new in our review videos, onboard flight video!!!

I really hope that the FCO3 will be as modular as they suggest from their website. Ken, I don't suppose the HL people told you when they might have the new version available.

On a side note, how long did it take you to get to Toldeo after all? I saw that you were posting at DFW last week.

To be totally honest with you I didn't even know they were coming out with a new version of this camera until I saw it in the thread here!!

I finally got down to Toledo and checked in to the hotel around 10 pm. Then I had to go sit in on the planning meeting for the show coverage. So it was past midnight when I got to bed. And trust me, 5:30 am come VERY early in the morning!!!! But hey, it's worth it because I was in Toledo for the show!!!!
