Default 2.4 GHz systems

In the world of Tx's, is the range(distance) of the 2.4GHz systems more, less, the same as the 72 MHz systems?

Thanks!

Technically, shorter. The practical part of it is, well, if you can see it, you can fly it. But, this all depends on the type of a receiver you are using. If it is a park flyer type receiver, well, your range is restricted. If it is a full-range receiver, then you can pretty much compare it to the 72 MHz systems... for all practical purposes. As I said, technically, no. The range is shorter (pretty much line of sight).

You can fly till you won't see the plane and you will still have control, so don't worry about it.

Unless you get behind a solid object, but then if you do that it won't matter anyway.

Like I said, if you can see it, you can fly with it.
