Hey CGR,

I thought you were Retired lol.

Bob
Well, sort of.. Retired from CG in '97 then went back to work for the FAA. Had ta figure out a way to pay for RC!!! [X(]

CGr
Did you have to come here to OKC for any training at the MMAC? My dad and aunt both work for FAA here, and I been out there a hundred times. Used to get free airshow entrance through my dad's hangar, but post 9/11 security has stopped all that now.

Hi Brett. No, I've not been to OKC in several years now. I am actually a contractor working for Engility Corp, owned by L3 Communications. I DO work with quite a few guys from MMAC, though, some with AVN and others with AOS. I am a, Air Traffic Control RADAR Systems Engineer. Our current project is ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance - Broadcast). Google it. Pretty interesting.

That is interesting stuff, I have heard a bit about it, am I right about this system will be able to "rack and stack" planes better, with a more direct approach to the airport and not as much waiting?

Sounds cool
