so i maidened my corsair yesterday. the first 2 flights went very well. it was pretty windy, but pushed my luck a third time and on the landing ripped the left main gear out as a result of a stall. also the left aileron servo is now stripped (i think, it makes a really nasty sound and spases and flutters every time it's actuated). does any one have any recommendations for a new aileron servo? should i replace both of the at the same time, or just the bad one?

The servos are junk and Horizon will replace them if that's where you purchased it. They replaced my rudder servo but I didn't use it. I installed Futaba micro's all around.
You can use Gorilla Glue to repair the gear, they do rip out easy.
Make sure you check for the bad motor mount screw that sticks into the battery compartment, and cut it off shorter. I wasn't aware of the condition and it shorted out my battery in flight. Hence, a new wing kit.

i had read up on the corsair prior to buying it, so i did flex the ailerons a bit by hand with the linkages removed (they were pretty stiff). i think i stripped the servo gear during the bad landing, the left wing slammed the pavement pretty hard. i think i'll just order a replacement servo from horizon (they're around $11, iirc).

If you get the same servo from Horizon you can just replace the bad one. If you go with a different brand or type then be sure to replace the one for the other aileron as well to insure that they both move the same amount and at the same speed.
