fuel filler

It is - NO MYTH - that inserting the probe cracks and degrades the "O" ring in short order.
Inserting the wrong probe ( say from another filler brand ) will also destroy these fillers in one attempt.
They are not worth the trouble, especially since there are many more workable solutions as have been already suggested.

Must be why some of them have lated for years and hundreds of fills without a problem for me. Guess the manufacturer that's been around for years purposely desings a product to fail after a few uses. Some don't like them so be it, but stop telling the rest of us that they don't work, when our own experience says they do.

Why not pay attention to the majority who collectively have MANY more years of experience than you do and quit discounting everyone else simply because you do not like their response? Proclaiming things to be "a myth" out of hand does no favors to anyone.
Stop telling us that they work fine when we KNOW firsthand that they have many problems.

There have been other threads where many have posted postive experiences, and who are you to question my experience? Been at this 25 years and my first hand experience with them has been good. I will decide for myself what advice is useful and what "beliefs" are "myths" , suggest you do the same.

You can believe what you want, that is your perogative and right, no matter that your "years" have not have taught you everything.
However to come here and blast others by discounting first hand experience which we have had with the stated fueler, as a "myth" is disingenuous at the least.
Tower has lowered their price on the fuelers, because of the lack of interest in them. You may want to pick some up, since you do well with them.
I've seen them on sale for 9.00/ea.

Suggest you read post 7, 9, and 24. The list is my own personal list of "myths", and in what posts did I blast anyone? You are the one blasting me because I dared to have a different opinion than yours. I am done with this topic.
