Default Fuel Tank

Ok,,,,,,I should know the answer to this but am having a bad case of power lose above my shoulders! :-) Is it better to have the fuel tank a little above the carb or better below the carb?

Thanks for your patience and your answers.

See, I told you it was an easy question.

Default RE: Fuel Tank

It really doesn't matter.

having the tank level with the carb is a general rule of thumb. Even when level, when the tank is full, the fuel level is above the carn and when the tank is more than half empty, the fuel is below the carb. When you climb, the fuel is lower than the carb and when you nose down the fuel is above the carb.

Place the tank wherever it's the most convenient.

I run mine centered on the carb and as close to the engine as possible.
