Default Wing Question

My daughter crashed her Tower Trainer last week so I was putting another one together for her. I got it all finished up and was looking over everything again and notice that the first 1/4 inch of themating surface (leading edge)of the wing halfs are not joined. It's thin but you can slip a piece of paper in the gap. What is this best way to seal this gap or reinforce it?
Thanks

If it's only a small gap like you said it shouldn't be any problem at all. If you do want to seal it up for your peace of mind work some epoxy into the gap and then put a strip of monokote over it to "pretty it up".</p>

If you want to go over kill you can glass the wings together. when i built my trainer the wings seemed kinda lose, i didnt realy trust the seam, so Iadding a strip of fiberglass and some scarp momokote. you can see the sliver strip where i did this

Once you have applied the epoxy to the crack, you can warm it up a smidge with a heat gun and it will run into the crack a little better. Be careful as this also will shorten the ammount of time it takes for the epoxy to set up. Good Luck, Dave
