Sorry but I just couldnt helpgiggle at the idea (i mean no offence) but you're really reaching forthe Stars with that one there arent ya?Off course in a few years who knows i may be eating my words. I mean who knows where the technology will go right? However if ever there were to be one... it wouldnt be in the hands of civilians any time soon thats for sure and it certainly wont be in the triditional way we control them. You'd need on board cams and that plane would have to be massivecompared to traditionalmodelsplus all of what MinnFlyer said and I think thats not even the tip of the ice burg yet

Actually, I'm kind of new to RC and was just curious, however...
A. No offense to the AMA, but if I were trying this, I wouldn't be too concerned about what they thought. If you've ever been to a model rocket show, it's always a case of higher, farther, and faster. If you're not out there trying something new and expanding your knowledge, then why are you doing it? I'm fairly certain there must be transmitters out there that would reach more than what you can buy at Hobbytown will.
B. I have got to attend Frank's shows more often. I LIVE in Lakeland for gosh sakes...
C. I didn't know this forum existed two months ago.

When you "expand your knowledge" and accomplish this, be sure to post the video.

Well I'll make you a deal. When you can analyze a star using spectography just by looking at the color band, let me know. Astronomy is another hobby of mine...Then I'll let you teach me the world of RC, at which I am new, hence posting in the 'BEGINNERS' forum.
Get the message there, sport?

I feel your frustration. Ask a simple question, and what do you get? I've been a member of this forum for quite some time, but I rarley post.
The reason being that unless you belong to a certain clique whose posts number in the thousands you"re treated like you just were.

What is with you people? Where did I say I could care less about the AMA? I did say that they wouldn't be my top priority. I simply asked a question and all of the sudden you guys coming up with these smart ass answers. If you have nothing to contribute to the conversation, do me a favor and don't bother to reply...
What do you know.... RC snobs...
