Well My avistar is pretty much done except my dumb arse made a z bend on my throttle rod which left me no room to adjust. No worries I have a new rod, just need to install it. Finally got the radio issue sorted out, just ordered a new 9cap and sent my first/defective one back to Tower. Currently looking for an instructor, a competent one that is to buddy box with at my club. Have had alot of offers from guys on behalf of their 12-14 yr old sons who actually look to be quite fine flyers just not too sure im game with that at the moment, we'll see though. Finally broke down and bought G2 Real flight today after flying it for half an hour at the local hobby shop. It is truly amazing and after just a few hours I see noticable improvement. Actually my improvement on this simulator is like night and day from when i first tried it in the store. I truly think it has saved me an airplane or two, or at least some major repairs. I hope to be up and flying this week sometime if the weather and work schedule play along, believe it or not but it had been really gloomy/windy/ and rainy her ein San Diego for the past two weeks, I havent even wanted to fly in the weather so I guess my three week build on this avistar arf isnt soooo bad
. Well I will keep you posted as to the first flight all. Thanks for all the help and advice. Fly safe / keep the shiny side up!
