does any one have one or know anyone who has one? I'm thinking of getting it ( would be my 3rd plane, first taildragger )

a few guys at my club had them, they claimed they don't fly. I don't know personally they were destroyed before I was a member.

Looks somewhat like the Top Flite Elder 40 that I had several years ago, with the open fuselage like that. I started it, but realized that it was not something that I really liked, so I sold it to someone that still has the kit in a box and has never built it. So, that's about the extent of my input on this.. that it looks like something else.

Why don't you check the "User Reviews" section of RCU? There are eight comments concerning this ARF thats been around a long time.

The Blue Max looks a lot like the Super Flying Models Eindecker that I used to have. Sold it and have regretted it since.
It flew great with an OS.46LA. Flew even better with a GMS.47. It was a great plane for the money.

I have flown the blue max and it is a good flyer.
