Default Need a Tx casing

Is it possible to buy just Tx casing ? The brand is not really important but a model like a Futaba 9ch would be best as there's lot's of switch. My friend is doing an FPV RC project at the University and he want to incorporate his electronic Tx. board into a casing to avoid building a Tx casing. So if we can buy one new or used ( not working transmitter ) that would fit our need. I was even thinking about the tx that is include with RFG4 ( similar to Futaba 6EX ) but we will have to drill the casing everywhere to add all our switch.

We will use an electric glider ( not sure yet which model as we need large width to fit his Rx board ) to do FPV flight with camera, goggles, OSD, GPS, autopilot, etc. but he need to do all the electronic and program all the boards so he can't use a working transmitter.

Thanks,
Séb

I have seen non-working transmitters sold for parts on e-bay.

I did some search on Ebay but probably with the wrong words combinaison because I just find working unit at rather too expensive pricing. I will probably have to look more and try other way of typing my search.

Here's a search on eBay for buddy boxes.

There were several cheap boxes shown.

If you go to most any club and ask around I bet you can find a box full of old TXs that people will give to you. Most the pilots I know have several old 4&6ch radios in there closet they don't want.
