Default Finding a new local club

A big HELLO to everybody!!!

This is my first time posting here.

I'm 27 years old and it's been a few years since I've been in the R/C airplane hobby. I decided to keep all my stuff when I was getting out of it, and that turned out to be a good idea because I excited to get back into it!

I'm looking for a new local flying club. I wonder how one does this these days. I used to be a member of AMA, so I wonder if they could be of help.

I'm in Bedford, PA 15522. Anybody out there with a club close to me?

I used to fly at a club that was about 20 mins. from my house, but the old owner passed and everybody kinda lost interest.

There are 3 clubs within 25 miles of you. One is only 8 miles away.

Go here and type in your ZIP code:

Wow, that's great!

Neat little website to show where the clubs are by zip code.

Thanks a bunch!

Now I have to figure out how to clean up my engines (internally)

Later!

Unless they are badly rusted, you can usually just loosen them up with a little fuel and crank them up. I've had engines sit for years - in fact, just last night I cranked up an engine that hadn't run in 4 years. She ran like a charm.
