probably...but by the time you replace the carb and the seals.and the cylinder head ...for the itty bitty spark plug if they make em that small, plus buy an ingintion..it would probably be cheaper to buy a gas motor....just a guess on my part

I have to agree with Jetmech here. While it's possible to make the conversion, you'll more than likely wind up spending more money than you would if you just buy a gas engine. And you may find performance may very well be lacking. You can buy a 17cc gas engine from Troy Built Models for $179, and if you keep your eyes open they run specials all the time and you could find it lower than that. That price included muffler and ignition as well. A 17cc engine is going to be similar in size to the 65 4-stroke that you want to convert and would be a much easier option than trying to convert your existing engine, IMHO
