Default RE: College RC Pilot

Electrics are extremely convenient compared nitro. I love my nitro planes, but I have to charge the RX and TX batteries up the night before, lug a field box with fuel, fuel pump, battery, starter, etc. out to the field with me, and clean the slime off of them afterwards.

With my electrics, the LiPo packs hold their charge for months, so they are always charged and ready to go. I just throw a couple of my electric planes in the back of my car, along with the TX the LiPos packs, and I'm good to go. I have all of my electrics bound to my Spektrum DX6i, and I feed that 4 AA alkaline batteries, so I never have to recharge that. One set of alkalines costs me about 80 cents, and lasts me for about 4 months or more.
