Default motor choice

I am going to get me the SP version of the Extra 300 from Great Planes as soon as it arrives in SA... I have the SAITO FA65 four stroke motor... but I would rather have a 2 stroke 55AX OS motor in there... what would be your choice?

In this case I would go with the Saito 65 because:

1. You already own it
2. I love Saitos.
3. It ought to give you plenty of power for everything but 3D.

3D is what I want... ok, now there is a 82a Gold Edition... it can turn a 14x6... I think I would go this route then...

I just bought that plane and am going to power it with a Saito 62 because I own it and I think it will make a good sport flyer. I am planning on upgrading eventually, maybe putting a large 2-stroke or big 4-stroke up front. BTW, the plane is a beauty and goes together really nicely. I haven't finished it yet, just waiting on a couple of items to arrive in the mail so I can put the finishing touches on.

A point of order here. Fuel or Gasoline (petrol for you guys in SA) "ENGINES". Electric "MOTORS".

Ok..ok.. [&o]

CGr.

PS. 82a Gold Edition = good choice of ENGINES!!!

why not try the .65, if you dont like it replace it with a .82 or ax55?
motors......sorry engines are like props, try it till you find the one you like (keep the cowl off while you are still deciding, amkes switching engines much easier)
