Or is this website having issues today. When I open the home page, there is no menu or header at the top. I have open the forum from a menu on the left side. Once in the forums all appears well, until I open a post that has pics or an attachment, and nothing is there.

It's probably one of them ARMY guys doing that.

It is acting normal for me around 2:30 p.m.

I have been in a couple of times today with no problems.

This seems to be the season for computer virus. I've been hit by two in the past two weeks.

This site has it's quirks every so often. Sometimes pages half load, sometimes it takes a really long time for things to load...

When this is happening I open other windows and try other sites - the problem only seems to be with RCU. I posted about this a year or so ago and got the same response, but I'm good with virus protection, scans, and the site content of where I go.

I don't know why, buy I usually have a problem if I try to get in before 6 AM. I can get to anything but the forums. No problems cruising the ads, etc. but will time out trying to view any forum. After 6 or so, no problems...

I have been told there were 4 or 5 different servers for RCU and some of them act differently. I know that server #4 will give you giant photos when you try to post them. Only way to know what server you are on is to open up the RCU magazine and go to the bottom and it will show you. I now have my puter set up to just open directly to airplanes so I avoid the home page when I log on.

The large picture posts only happens whena server needs rebooted. They are Windows servers, so quirky stuff can be expected!!!

Ican't tell you the last time Isaw RCU's homepage. Ialways go in directly from emails to the forums and bypass the homepage!!

If you guys see issues just PM me for fastest response. username "RCadmin".  please note where you were, description of problem and the server id as described above in this thread. 

Last couple days I have been doing some maintenance and bringing up a new server along with reboots. Also some db maintenance and security patches today.  I've seem some timeout issues on the new server so if that happens copy those errors and email to support (at) rc universe dot (com).  leave out spaces and parentheses on that email...it is just cloaked up to avoid spam harvestor bots
