I guess it all depends on how much room you have, I need all the floor space I can get so over the years I have settled on using a PVC type hanger system. Basically it is 2 U-shaped assemblies of 1 inch PVC with a 1 foot or so joiner between them screwed in the the ceiling, this keeps my airplanes up high and out of harms (from me!) reach, I even hang the transmitter on the PVC to charge them and just pull whatever airplane down that I want to fly that day. it also depends on what size airplanes you fly as well. I have used this system for many years and it works pretty well for me anyway.

in the garage...i don't hang them there....mine fill the building room very nicely
