I am new to this but a friend of mine has the Apprentice and he loves it. It has also been a durable plane for him. He has really tested it "durability"
and with a little foam safe glue and clear packaging tape and all is well and he is in the air again. The nice thing is that if you buy the RTF version you have a complete radio system. You then can buy Plug and Play versions of planes and just move your receiver to the new plane or buy an new receiver and bind it to your radio.

The Apprentice is an excellent choice. There's a couple of guys at my club have them, the planes take a lot of abuse and keep going. And the Dx5e can be used with the BNF (Bind &Fly) airplanes. The ParkZone T-28 is a great second plane. Charge the battery while you bind and set up the radio and off you go. Good luck and welcome to the addiction. Jim

I just finished my first electric plane, I ended up going over to watt flyers at the bottom of the header and signed up. Really some very nice people there and I found a lot of help and very good advice. I'm still not sure what it all means, electric talk is a different language but I'm learning!!! Good luck to you.
