i just got lucky at an auction and got a box full of rc stuff for $5. Im new to the hobby and my only other plane is a super cub lp that ive only flown once. i was wondering if someone could help me get started on what to do with this stuff. Heres the list: 9 glow plugs , 2 e-flight park 450 brushless outrunners (nib) , 2 e-flight 25-amp pro brushless esc's (nib) , 4 e-flight s75 sub-micro servos (nib) , 1 hitec HS-615MG servo (nib) , 1 working and 3 broke airtronics 94102 servos with 2 rebuild kits , 2 working and 1 broke apollo 10 servos , 1 airtronics 92765/72band reciever , 1 airtronics vg4r transmitter (needs new battery and charger) , and lots of misc wires ( servo extensions, y adapters, battery wires, and such). Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Hang on to all the misc wires. You wil probably use them some day. That goes for the glow plugs if you fly glow engines as well. I would take it all to my club field if it was mine and see who needed what. You only gave 5 bucks. 1 Y harness is worth that. Good way to make buddies at the field. You may need the favor some day.

Sorry, I just noticed the NIB designator. That stuff may be worth a few bucks. Look em up at Tower's site and see what they retail for.You may be able to trade for something your little heart desires.

I'd keep it all for at least a year...by then you will have made decisions on what you want and don't want. I've kept a lot of junk thru the years and have found uses for much of it.

If the radio is good, use it and the good regular servos and put them in a 40 size trainer either ARF or build one. Sell or trade for a good engine some of the other stuff. Or go the other way with the electric and small servos.
