I usually take 3 or 4. I always bring my Mini Ultra Stick, because it's my beater that I have the most flight time on. I use it to get the jitters out of my thumbs before I fly anything else. I wil also usually take a couple of other planes depending on how I feel like flying that day, or what I haven't flown in awhile.
I don't like flying the same thing over and over, all day long, so I bring a variety.
All I fly is electric powered planes, so no cleanup after. I bring along a small generator to power my chargers, as I always have 2 chargers going full time. I'm not really into anything larger than .60 size, and I have a full size van, so I can usually bring out a few planes.
The van was selected entirely because of planes and dogs (I have 2 Mastiffs).

I usually take two planes of different types. One relaxing flyer, and one that's more 'energetic'. Along with a heli and maybe a small electric, this gives me plenty of variety depending on what flying style that I'm in the mood for and what others are flying at the field.
I've seldom flown everything that I've hauled to the field, but it's nice to have some variety for when the need arrises. Especially when I get to spend the whole day at the field. I subscribe to the notion of 'I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.' LOL.
Cheers ! BH

1 40 size cherokee and a foamie, but now I've added a heli to the fleet that sits behind the seat. I have a 4cyl toyata, with a bench seat[:@] so I'm very limited on space. I usually have the foamie, 2 tx's ,cherokee wing and a field box in the cab with me and the plane on a stand in the back. Its funny sometime, I'll get a call from my parents wanting me to pick up my brother or sister after I fly; yeah not gonna happen. I got an OMP Edge with nondetachable wings so I'm gonna have to build a stand that will allow the plane to be in the back with out taking a flight without me at the sticks. ( man I need a bigger truck)

It's 58 mi. one way to my club field and go twice a month,I stay all day. I have a basic .60 shoulder wing(60" ws) a 40 size cub(76"ws) a loadstar 40(73"ws) and ultrastick 60(66"ws). Now I have a bridi big bee gasser(96"ws) and wattage decathlon ele. (28"ws).I take them ALL. You can never have enough planes to fly! So that's six, yeah I do 6.

I normally take 2 o 3. However, If I have a crash then I am done for the day. I limit my crashes to one a day.

I usually bring my EasyTiger Draken EDF, 50cc OMP Yak, 196mph Weston Magnum, and a Mulitiplex Blizzard. That way, I get speed, 3D, jets and soaring all in one day.
