Default Easystar reinforcement

As some of you might know Iam looking at getting an Easystar soon and I was wondering about the rods that get inserted into the wings.I think I would like to get some carbon fiber tubes to put in their place. Does anyone by chance know how thick those rods are that go in the wings or how thick of a tube Iwould need to replace it?

Thanks

My suggestion is...don't fix it if it isn't broken..I have had two of them. I broke lots of things..but..never the rods. They are the strongest part of the plane. Rich

We are talking about a Multiplex EasyStar right?

The wing tube is carbon fiber already.. no need to replace it.

There is a slot inside the body you can put a stick of 5mm CF tubing in.. It helps stiffen the fuselage.

Over on RCGroups there is a 100+ page post on EasyStar builds and mods.

Ill have to see if I can find that page over their. Yes it is the Multiplex but some of the pics I have come across online show like a wooden dowel but if they come with carbon fiber then no need to worry about it
