dumb move

Hi,
I guess this is a good place to post this, I hope the other more experenced flyer will not do what I did.
I flew my Slow Poke with the .46 EVo engine, the engine flamed out on the first flight and I dead sticked it. That was not a problem, I had to adj. the needle valve and found that the little finger that keeps the needle valve in place was not touching it. In other words the needle could move on its own.
I in my wisdom decided to adj. the needle valve and fly agian ( before the wind got worse ) and took off. It flamed out again and this dead stick was not so great. Just a little damage, as I got it leveled just before touch down.
Goirish was flying with me and reminded me.
" IF IT IS NOT GOOD ON THE GROUND, IT WILL NOT GET BETTER IN THE AIR"
and thats good advice, just wish he had said it a little earlier!!!!!!!!!

It was "GOOD ON THE GROUND", but free to go bad in the air.
Rule #1: Vibration is always working to diassemble parts.
Rule #2: There are seldom situations where a flexible piece, like silicone tube, is not cure for vibration negative work.

Oh well, mostly got away with it. I don't like the engine mount on it anyway. I am going to cut it out ( made of wook ) and put a figer glass one in.
