Default Thunder Tiger S1903MG anyone?

Hi,

does anyone have any experience with Thunder Tiger S1903MG, Metal gear Servos?. I am looking for some cheap servos to fly a trainer during the off-season and am getting a good deal on these. So far I have use mainly Futaba servos and some Hitec but not with too much luck with the latter

I also have some Hitec 225MG mini mighty servos (48oz-in at 4.8V) and was wondering whether I could use those for my trainer. I had originally taken these for the Reactor but when one of them did not work out of the box, I decided to use Futaba S3010 servos. I already have the holes from my old servos on the same airplane so I will need to put sin some ply and make new holes in the same to install these mini servos

I have used the Thunder Tiger/ Ace S1903 servos. They're very comparable to the other brand name servos. If you can buy them at a better price than Sanwa, Hitec, or Futaba servos, then there is certainly nothing wrong with using them.

It sounds like your HS225MG servos would work fine in a typical .40-size trainer as well, so long as you can make a servo tray to hold them.

Our S1903 MG servo's are used in many applications. I think they would be great for a tranier if you looking for quality servos at a reasonable price. The servo have a Futaba based spline and any futaba servo horn will fit it. Ace Hobby Inc. distributes these products in the states Associated Electrics or AE is our sister company located in the same building but they speacailize in cars.
