Default Throttle servo vibration/stringer contact?

In the process of rebuilding a Funtana x100. I installed the throttle servo, yet seems the servo sits right on the stringer under it. Would this pose a problem? Im thinking of vibration being transferred from the frame to the servo.

Might. I'd back it out and put some two-sided tape along where they meet so at least it's dampening the contact.

Thanks Charlie. I just wanted to confirm that it might be a possible problem. Ive recently lost 2 throttle servos over the last few months due to vibration ( Hitec HS -82mgs). The servos werent designed for the vibration, but its fresh in my mind so just dont want to have to deal with it later. I will probably add a little ply and raise the servo up 1/8 of an inch.

thanks

Yeah, if you have the room, that's what I would do.

You could also glue some 1/8 inch ply on the top of your mounting which would completly lift your servo of the beam. Good Luck, Dave
