brushless hangs

brushless hangs
Brushless motor hangs at low RPM. Rotation stops it squeels, buzzes. Not a mechamical stop the motor turn free when no under power. Speed control contention. Motor electrical problem. How do I determine which is at fault.

Change timing on the ESC, or switch out the ESC for a different one. Try a second motor on the original ESC on its original settings - if that doesn't work, change the timing to see if that helps.
