Default help choosing motor

I am looking at this motor for a bridi aircruiser 25, est. wgt. 3 1/2 lbs any in put would be appreciated.
I beleave this would give me 75 watt's per lb

If you reduce the optimistic rating by 25% or so... these are good motors. I think that if around 250W is enough for you, that motor will do very well - maybe even 30A and 300W - but the 45A burst rating is way too much! As for HC bragging that this motor is the equivalent of a .30-.35 IC motor (that's about 600-700W)... forget it.
