Default Is it big enough?

Hi Guys,

This is my first post and I am in need of some information.

I would like to know the distance from the prop mounting face to the end of the shaft on this product?

http://www.toddsmodels.com/product_p/hp-adap-32xl.htm

In other words how much stuff can I put on and still tighten the nut? I am intending to use it for a ducted fan application where the fan is 19mm thick.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Default RE: Is it big enough?

I'd hazard a guess at around 12mm.. that's what a comparable MP Jet long adapter allows you. It would be very unusual (and perhaps dangerous) to try to mount an impeller on a stock collet adapter anyway. Typically EDF impellers come with their own specific adapters which are designed to prevent slippage at the extremely high rpm EDF's run at.
