Ihave a HPI G3.0 Ihave had it for some time and it was doing great till yesterday. Iwas just bashing it around and it decided to just die all of a sudden and ever since it refuses to start back up. Ihave put the carb settings back to factory and it still will not start at all. While it was running Iwas getting a good cloud of blue smoke and it accelerated good and idled perfectly. The temps would not go below 250F though. Iwas on some fairly tall yard grass though. The fuel Iam using is the Traxxus power 20% nitro. Is it possible that the fuel went bad it was in my garage all winter long. Ihave been able to take the wheels off the ground and more or less floor it and it will start but if Ilet off the throttle at all it will instantly die. When it finally idles and Iplace the tires back on the ground the engine instantly dies
Ihave put a brand new OS 8 plug in it. Charged the roto-start and the igniter. Carb back to factory settings. The engine has less than 1/2 gallon through and very good cold "pinch" so Iam begging for your help Iam at a loss. Thanks for your advice and sorry for the long post.

if it idles ok but dies when you put on the ground and give it throttle, its probably the tune. You may have put it back to factory settings, but factory settings are really rich for break in purposes, you probably need to lean her out a bit.

it is the carb settings adjust the screwwith the throtal spring on it runs with the throtal because the engine is getting fuel and when you let of the throtal it is not so its a fuell problem and the screw with the carb spring is the one you need to adjust clock wise
