Hi there

Doh I was in Bed when the postman came with the new engine I ordered AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I have hunted him down and he is going to drop it off once he gets back to his car as the box was to big to carry around on the rest of his round. So if he comes back I should have my engine in the next 30 to 45 mins.

Hi there

Just got the engine but the carb is facing the wrong way so it looks like I will have to turn it around before I fit it DOH oh what fun (even the picture on the box shows it the right way around DOH). Will have to got to LHS and see what sealents they have or maybe a car shop as they will have the right stuff.

The temp gun is very handy, and a good investment. It's more peace of mind to know exactly what is going on with your engine in regards to how rich/lean its running and overall effect on temperature. And it sure looks a lot more professional than sitting there spitting all over your motor.

Hi there All

Whent out today with my Buggie and Temp Gun and tunned the engine, the temp gun made a lot of difference while tunning as I was able to check the engine temp nearly all the time and now have the engine running at about 215 F/ 225 F. There is pleanty of smoke and a lot of power from the engine as well (some of the otheres where I go checked there eninges and found that they were running a bit hot so they richened them up a bit).
