Default Using non-pullstart mounts on a pullstart engine

OK, I have a pullstart Nova Rossi CX12 in a RC10GT. I bought a starter box for it so I need to bring the flywheel down. I have some non-pullstart mounts that I can use but the side of the engine gets in the way. If I grind away the material thats in the way on the mount, it will pretty much split it in two. Will this be OK or should I look for a different mount?

I'll try to post some pics later.
