Here's the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGEG6&P=Z]pull starter[/link] that you will need. As for installing it it's just a mater of removing the four screws on the rotostart back plate and installing the pullstarter in its place. Hope this helps.

i prefer the roto starter but a pull stater is just as good if you engine is tuned correctly. BTW you can buy repair kits for the roto starter instead of buying a whole new one.

For the engine get an OS .18 CV-RX. If your getting a new engine there's no point in getting the replacement parts but if you decide not to here's the link. [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXERF6&P=7]Roto start replacement gears.[/link]

It's only $110 on tower and can make your car go over 60 if you gear it right. [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGGP7&P=ML]OS .18 CV-RX[/link]

It's the best one for the price. Easy to tune and loads of power.
