i have a picco 27 and i am a newbie at tuning engines. after the engine has warmed up it bogs at full throttle even if at have a half a tank of fuel left or more.i leaned the hsn only a quarter turn from factory and lsn about a 1 and half turns.when should you do the pinch for the lsn when the engine is hot or cool.this is getting very frustating.the temps are running at the 300 area.i am using a mc59 plug as well, hope someone can help.

it sounds like it is running lean does it bog when you start to take off if so your bottom could be and if it takes off good and bogs when your starting to get speed then your top is lean i would go back to the factor settings get you hsn first and then do the lsn and you pinch the gas line when its warm.i would say the temp should be around 220-260 i ant sure for that motor. hope this helps you

sometimes it bogs as soon as i hit full throttle or as it is picking speed it will bog then too.if the bottom is too lean that will cause it to bog as well.

Here's 2 vids to help you.. They are Savage 25 tuning videos, BUT all glow engines tune the same way....

No one ever got in trouble by richening the settings. When in doubt, richen. Jeeze, esp if running at 300.
Picco recommends 260 max, with a best range of 220-260.
