I have a AE .15x engine and it will start for just a few seconds. when i take the air filter off to try and start it gas comes out of the carb in a mist what causes this is it a bad piston and sleeve?

i put in just a few drops and i only have about a gallon through it. One more thing the factory lsp should be 2-2 1/2 turns out well i can only get it started at about 3/4 to 1 turn out. mean while when it is running gas comes from the carb and alot comes from the muffler.

I had this problem once with a ABN engine, the Nickel plating had actually peeled off around the exhaust port and also around the transfer ports. It would spit fuel out the carb and would also spit a ton of fuel out the carb. Would rarely ever run, and when it did it would only run for a secound or two and then shut off, try and check the sleeve. This could be your problem.

No, it's not expensive. Like $15 to have it done. Send it to OSRocket.
