OK, got a problem i just cant quite figure out. When I go to start the motor the pull start won't retract in. I took the pull start off and it pulls and retracts fine off the engine. I can get the pull start to retract if I turn the flywheel clockwise. So I figured something was binding or sticking in the motor. I pulled the entire motor apart, cleaned, oiled and put everything back together and it still does the same thing.

This is an Axial .28 bout 3 years old

Any thoughts?

i have the same problem on 1 of my bb revos...it has a picco .26 with a bb...the problem is that when u tighten it down tight the bearing is to deep in the pull start case...so it wont retract...u can check this by just snugging the bolts and check to see if it will retract...if not keep loosing...if this is the case you can get shims to move the pull start out away from the block...
