Yes there is a Matrix 1/8 being developed. Not any time soon however. We will release info as we get it. Currently in the early stages of development.

Yeah I was all intrigued about 7 months ago...the article stated it'd be in the Us by christmas...
Dang I'm so glad things worked out well in me canceling my Genesis pre-order, then I was all ready to see things ok again, and now I hear your early propaganda was a lie?...
You now certainly lost a customer for good.

binaryterror, TNX,
We released information that we were starting a project. We have NOT advertised anything about our Matrix 1/8th scale buggy. There have been some articles that (magazines) not us, have put out stating that we were working on an 1/8th scale buggy. (Which we are). The new Matrix is in the beginning stages and there is NO release date as of right now.
Poor Judgment, was simply asking about a "rumor" that he had heard. I simply answered him, with a reliable answer.
Thanks (Poor Judgment) for your interest! We will keep the nation posted when we get more details/information regarding the release of our 1/8th scale buggy.

Many thanks for the reply Cen....however, this quote from your Andy would make people think the matrix would be have been out by august this year....
heres where i got it:
http://www.rc-racing.com/cgi-bin/backtalk/pistachio/read.text?isel=96&conf=offroad6&csel=@1&tmprsel=0-$&noskip=1&item=95&rsel=new
so not strictly a rumour, more from the horses mouth i guess.
.......just to set everyone straight......
oh and while i got ur attention Cen - I emailed andy re the jtracing chassis and have recieved no reply....i am starting to agree with others.......
we are testing materials etc.at this point. Matrix, will
be out in time for the worlds later this year. We would like to
welcome "GENE THE MACHINE" TO OUR TEAM!!

We did not attend the worlds due to the car not being ready. With MANY projects over hear at CEN, some confidential, some already known "(Matrix)" Production of certian items will abviously be slowed down a bit. Our race team has been working with the GENESIS as of late.
Please re-send your email to Andrew, perhaps he did not recieve it.
THanks.

Ok maybe I was somewhat harsh...but I think alot of us just don't want to have the patience...especially when it comes to big $$$ purchases.
Is there a way we can get some new innovations or something on the buggy...something that might tide some over. I am in the market for a good RTR or maybe kit Buggy by X-mas...I'd like to know what the Matrix might bring to the table, then heck I might decide to wait.
Please say it comes with an RB engine and starter box, no pull start.

In the upper right hand corner of the message box click the reply button (next to the quote and fwd button) and then you will have the upload link in the reply box. It took me a minute figure it out also because I always use the fast reply box.
Looking forward to see the pics.

I cant think of a better first post than asking to see the new Matrix buggy. Also if Cen are looking for any consumer feedback, make two versions. One rtr for the first time buyer, and one pro spec for those who wish to compete. Something to rival the Mugens, Kyoshos and Xrays would be great. Thanks.

Just thought I would bump this one back up, I still would love to see any pics or hear any more info on this car. Any chance CEN? And judging by the 435 views, I am not the only one.
