Default Cen Genesis Fuel Issues

I have been having some trouble keeping my Genesis running. I noticed that there were a lot of bubbles in the fuel line. I found that the stock cap for the fuel tank is horrible and was allowing air to enter the tank. I replaced this with an expandable rubber stopper and replaced the fuel lines. I have rebuilt the carb and now when I try to start the vehicle it does not pull fuel from the tank. The piston and sleeve seem to be okay because I can hear the compression and can feel air coming from the exhaust. I have no idea as to why my engine will not pull fuel from the tank. If I remove the fuel line coming from the exhaust and blow into it fuel easily pushes through the hose. I am convinced that if I were to remove the tank from the car and hold it high enough to where gravity would feed fuel into the engine that it would work fine. Does anybody have some input as to what the problem is? Thanks for any help.

skippystahl,

Did you have fuel pressure before? Did it just start recently? You may want to check the exhaust pipe. Take it off and open it up. There may be somthing clogging the nipple on the pipe itself.

You must blow in the empty Tank. I had the same Problem, there was a plug in the fuel line inside the Tank.

skippystahl,
what up man, i had a similar problem my engine wouldn't stay running it just shut off. i was not pulling fuel. i checked my carb and it was loose, the screw was tight and the carb would spin in the engine it not right, so i took off the carb and the sleeve that was pressed into the engine was twisted and cracked. i sent it to cen and they said the cracked sleeve that was pressed in couldn't be replaced and pieces of metal from the sleeve had fallen into the engine and piston sleeve... They had to send me a new engine i just got it yesterday.
