cen mt2 cvs snapping?

mt2 highly upgraded.also have done difcup mods,for some reason i have snapped 4 cvs in one week.and yes it is stock nt-16 with upgraded cooling head.i keep snapping them at the pin hole for the wheel nut hmmm any thoughts??

make sure that the rear cvd's are set correctly... they have a tendency to bind up if they are not spaced correctly... I hope you have the rubber o ring installed in the diff cups.. they help.. the other thing is after alot of jumping, the cvd can work its way loose and start to come out of the drive cup.. if it does, the torque of the engine will instantly break the shaft... you can adjust the spacing of the cvd by using the pillow ball screws to adjust the play..... Its funny today I broke my right rear cvd for the first time in quite a while...

thanks for the quick response however unfortunately its the fronts that i seem to keep snapping,i install them correctly and never had this problem before,then again i never drove it as hard as i do now that i built it up.i guess maybe i should take it easyer but what fun would that be

Are you running the thicker cvds? A while back CEN upgraded the driveshafts by making them thicker. Make sure your LHS has not supplied you with the older thinner type.

i orderd them online my local lhs dosnt carry cen.they are about the same as the stock ones do you know where i can find them or some aftermarket that will fit, i get my stuff for my cen from ehobbies.com the have a picture of the ones they sent me could you look and tell me if these are them thanks

alot of people are working on a cvd from another truck that will fit... some are very close but not close enough... I don't have any problems with the fronts other than self inflicted stupidity (driving into a tree with the wheel first... If you are breaking them as much as you are especially at the pin... something is causing it to snap... How tight are the wheel nuts... are you running different tires, how are the bearings? something is causing it......
