Default Diff Parts for Genesis.

Hi.
I have a Genesis which made nasty noises when I pushed it along, after a bashing session in a field. I thought it was a loose drive cup on the back till I noticed the front right CV drive shaft had come out of its drive cup and half of the dog-bone pin was missing. As a matter of cleaning, I striped the diffs and found the rear diff had ground off its internal gears. After a bit of investigation on the net, I found there are available, Ally diffs.
My questions are, Do the ally diffs have 2 or 4 bevel gears in?
Has anyone upgraded their 'plastic' diffs with 'extra' bevel gears?
Has anyone noticed excessive wear (grooves) in all the drive cups (things the dog-bones sit in)
and finally where is the suggested (best) place for getting genesis spares (sorry if its a daft question)?
Let me know if you want pictures as well.
Thanks.

Default RE: Diff Parts for Genesis.

Hi m8 my diffs let go last month so i rang up Irvine/Ripmax they put me through to a really helpfull guy called Ian. I explained what had happened and he said send the old parts in and they will sort it. He also told me about different spur gears mine were silvery gold but apparently theres some modified black ones. I sent all the parts off and three days later all new parts were sent back to me. The diffs that came back were alloy and spur gears were black. One word of warning though, if you order new diffs from your lhs you will end up with the old plastic ones as they are getting rid of old stock before suppling the new modified ones which personally i think is out of order[:@]
