Hello all,
I just ordered my Genesis and looks very promising. I have a HPI rush, RS4 and Onfa MBX. My question is about the tuned pipe what are ppl using to get more performance out of it. I am super excited to run this big truck, and want to make it lighter as well, what have ppl been doign to there truck.

I haven't looked for any mod products, but I did gut the pipe. Not much louder and a little more power. The trk is a brute ( LE ). It is what it is and to lighten it up much would prob be cost prohibitive unless you've got your heart set on it. The GEN LE with the MX3 radio is actually pretty cost effective. I got mine for $530 out the door. No complaints so far, other than a boring day idling 7 tanks thru it. Take your time and break it in their way. You'll prob see a max temp of 100 or less during your idle brk in.

Its a LE i was thinking of a vantage pipe and just putting a 5 hump pack. I am plaining of the 4 wheel drive kit and maybe a colling head for the .46 what are your takes on those items. Also i was planing to change the tires for weight loss and how has that worked for people. THanks for the repost as i am so happy that I got this big truck.

The LE has alot of power and its very strong, just put that 6V hump
pack and you will be ok.I don't like the 4WS Kit.
CEN will have there own tires very soon so wait for them.
Regards

Yes, I went for the nimh hump packs. Also, I dumped the Cen fail safe and got a venom smart temp. You need to play with the sensor location. I calibrated mine with my Raytek. I am very happy so far, but I'm only at 1 & 1/2 gal. This includes the 7 tanks at idle and the remainder at moderate driving getting a good tune. I tend to run a little fat and be safe. With this truck, I see no reason to run on the edge. As I said, it is what it is. If ya take care of it, it it will serve you well. Take your time getting it set up. There is no reason to rush it.
