Default Problems breaking in engine

I am having a devil of a time breaking in the engine on my new Genesis. Every time I get it started to idle. The motor runs real fast for several seconds and then dies out. Most of the time the wheels turn. What do I have to adjust to get it correct.? I took it to the hobby shop where I bought it and they ran it and it did the same thing. They said it will get better as it breaks in. Is this true? Thanks!

You could try to lower your idle, or give more fuel on the LSN( low speed needle). But I would say this, do a 1/2 turn on your LSN counter clockwise and try to start it up. If you still have the problem left ,try 1/4 counter clockwise on your LSN. It's all about tuning, I know it should be tuned at factory but sometimes it's not the best tune.
Keep the faith up, it's worth it.

I know this sounds stupid but I am new to nitro. Where is the LSN and idle adjustment on the Genesis? I see two screws around the carb but I dont know which is which. I've been experimenting with each but it still cuts off. Thanks

Check in the manual to find exactly where they are and set the needles to base setting. It's should to tell you exactly where everything is and what settings to have on break in. I would assume the low-speed needle is just below the arm that rotates/slides the carb and the idle is beside the air intake hole.
